I love it! I think you should tear down the pointless wall and have your kitchen open into your family room. That would make everything feel more open. That was very fun!
I would like to tear down the pointless wall and have a bar type thing into the living room. If I were going to live here more than another year or so, I would seriously consider doing it, but, since all the cooking appliance wiring runs through that wall, I think it would be more work than it would be worth. I might also have a hard time matching the tile.
