Today, I had to go on a road march. While normaly very boring, I really enjoyed this one because I brought Nick along instead of a ruck sack. He fell asleep almost right away and I was entertained by watching the shadow of his head bounce up and down the next thrity minutes.
While the Easter bunny missed our house on Easter Sunday, he did manage to make a stop after everthing in walmart was clearance. We managed to get his picture just before he hopped off.

How heavy is your ruck sack? Was this march easier or more difficult?

I think that we should celebrate all holidays after the fact when everything is cheaper!
I think that our ruck sacks are supposed to be 30-35lbs. With nick mine was probably 27-30. Just a guess. The march was a little harder because when the people in front of me started to run (because there's always one who doesn't realize he's falling behind untill theres so much space between him and the next soldier that he starts to run to catch up and every one behind has to run or feel like they're slacking) I couldn't run normally without tossing Nick all over the place, so I had to do this funky run that really worked out my calves.
