If I come with the boys (because I think Mike will come either way) I am sure they would love to go to the beach. They have never been to the ocean and they would be in heaven in a world of sand--and I won't even flash my brothers-in-law this time!
I do however, think we should narrow down the list of ideas since we only have five days. I guess we could do all those things but I would not be participating. I'm simple and would go crazy doing that many things!

I agree that we should narrow down the ideas.
So does everyone want to go to the beach? We haven't heard from Ralph or Andy yet. But if they don't mind then lets say the beach is a definite!
We're all in for the beach. Laura says that if she's pregnant that she won't go, but I know she will. We'd also like to go to a zoo, if every one else want to. Nick is an animal fanatic. Andy wants to go bungee jumping or ski diving with every one, but doesn't think he'll get much support.
I think it would be good to plan one activity for each day. So, now we have the beach activity for one day. Do you think it's too much to plan an actitity a day? The beach is an all day thing, but some of the activities are shorter things, like a picnic at the park.
I think one activity a day is reasonable if like Mandy said some are short, simple things.
I wondered if we could combine a trip to the zoo (DC) with a stop at the temple visiors center? Might make it too long a trip though.
I think one a day is good, then if one doesn't take long and everyone wants to do something else, they are free to go do something. My boys love the zoo too but we go all the time here so if we can't do the zoo, we will be ok.
I am going to still be fat and therefore, will want to exercise. Anyone want to exercise with me? We like walks in our family so we will bring our stroller. Although, it's always so hot in the summer in Maryland so maybe we won't want to go outside to exercise.
I will still be fat, too... so I would go for walks with you!
So, we have:
Monday-zoo and temple (would this involve a picnic?)
Tuesday-beach and boardwalk
Wednesday-
Thursday-
We can change the days around of course, but are we all in agreement for those two activities?
Anyone interested in Dutch Wonderland? Jess, do you have any fun games that we could keep at moms to play anytime?
Can anyone make July come sooner? I'm ready to come!!
I will also be needing to exercise and would love to go on walks, but you do never know how the weather is going to be. Both houses do have indoors exercise equipment.
I think that maybe we should spread out the all day activities...like temple/zoo Monday, beach Wednesday, with a smaller activity on Tuesday, maybe a local picnic or something like that.
We definitely have games we can leave at mom and dad's.
We would love to have the kids come over anytime and play in the back yard, on the trampoline/playground.
On a quieter day we could go to one or more of the big playgrounds around here. We could also plan our unbirthday party for a day that we weren't away from home all or most of the day.
Something that Laura, my sister in law, suggested was a trip to Hershey's Park. I know that most of the nieces and nephews won't be old enough to go on most of the rides, but Steven and Rebbecca really want to go. Some one who is more proactive than me might think of a way for that to work out. Or decide that there isn't a good way. Just thought I would throw that out there since Laura hadn't(again, not my wife).
